The Centre offers the following services:
- Translation of materials from one language into another. see list of clients
- Interpretation of speeches
- Editing of materials in various languages.
- Conducting short courses in both Malawian and non- Malawian languages e.g. Intensive Chichewa courses for foreigners.
- Collaborating with individuals and organizations in the writing of textbooks and readers in Malawian and non-Malawian languages.
- Collaborating with foreign research centres.
